
Angers 0 – Cleermont 1:Cleermont ease past Angers with a 1-0 victory away

Clermont Foot’s 1-0 win over Angers SCO on Sunday, was hard fought at the Stade Raymond Kopa. Angers were looking to continue their run after winning last match. Cleermont were beaten 1-0 in the previous match against Montpellier. As the table looks today, Angers are in 9th place on the table and has 25 points while Cleermont sit in 15th with 17 points after 18 matches.
Following a goalless first half, Cleermont continued to apply pressure in the second and were rewarded, with a goal from Mohamed Bayo, 84 minutes in. The game ended 1-0.
For Angers, Stephane Bahoken, Batista Mendy, Mathias Pereira Lage and Antonin Bobichon, came on for Mohamed-Ali Cho, Thomas Mangani, Azzedine Ounahi and Souleyman Doumbia. Cleermont replaced Jodel Dossou, Jordan Tell, Yadaly Diaby and Saif-Eddine Khaoui with Florent Ogier, Jodel Dossou, Arial Mendy and Jonathan Iglesias.

Angers will next play Montpellier away, with Cleermont facing RC Strasburg at home.
