
Lille 0 – Lyon 0:Lille and Lyon share points, in a goal-less draw

Lille were held to 0-0 draw by Lyon down on Sunday at the Stade Pierre Mauroy. Lille were keen to hang onto their position at the top of league and extend their winning run after winning their previous two matches against Troyes at home and Rennes away, by 2-1 and 2-1 respectively. Lyon secured a point against Bordeaux in their previous match. As the table looks today, Lille and Lyon are 11th, (25 points) and 12th, (24 points), spots respectively, after 18 matches.
For Lille, Angel Gomes, Gabriel Gudmundsson and Amadou Mvom Onana, came on for Jonathan Ikone, Jonathan Bamba and Benjamin Andre. Lyon brought on Emerson, Maxence Caqueret, Tino Kadewere, Rayan Cherki and Leo Dubois, to replace Henrique Silva, Thiago Mendes, Islam Slimani, Houssem Aouar and Malo Gusto.
There were bookings for Benjamin Andre and Zeki Celik from Lille, and Damien Da Silva, Thiago Mendes, Malo Gusto, Moussa Dembele, Jerome Boateng and Rayan Cherki, for Lyon.
Lille will next travel to Bordeaux, while Lyon will face FC Metz at home.
