
Osasuna 2 – Barca 2:Its all even at the Estadio El Sadar, after Osasuna draw 2-2 with Barca

On Sunday, Osasuna and Barca were held to a 2-2 draw at the Estadio El Sadar. Osasuna arrived with the intention of increasing their league score following a disappointing 0-0 draw with Levante in their previous game while Barca were beaten 1-0 in the previous match against Real Betis. After today’s result, Osasuna and Barca currently occupy 10th and 8th spots in the league, with 22 points and 24 points respectively after 17 matches.
Los Blaugranas started the first half well, thanks to Nicolas Gonzalez finding the net, at 12 minutes. However, their lead was short lived, as David Garcia equalised for Osasuna at the 14 minute mark, which saw the first half end 1-1.
Barca staged a comeback in the second half, with an early goal from Abdessamad Ezzalzouli in the 49th minute. In the end though, their celebrations were kept brief, as Ezequiel Avila equalised for Los Rojillos just before the final whistle, leaving the final score at 2-2.
For Osasuna, Ezequiel Avila, Darko Brasanac, Ante Budimir, Roberto Torres and Jose Angel, came on for Kike Barja, Ruben Garcia, Kike Garcia, Manu Sanchez and Nacho Vidal. Barca brought on Óscar Mingueza, Philippe Coutinho and Ferran Jutgla, to replace Nicolas Gonzalez, Ousmane Dembele and Abdessamad Ezzalzouli.
There were bookings for Nacho Vidal, Ruben Garcia, Juan Cruz, Manu Sanchez and David Garcia from Osasuna. For Barca, Gavi, Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Gerard Pique and Samuel Umtiti saw yellow.
Osasuna will next play Getafe away, with Barca facing Elche at home.
