
Torino 2 – Bologna 1:Points secure for Torino as they ease past Bologna 2-1

Torino’s 2-1 win over Bologna on Sunday, was hard fought at the Stadio Olimpico di Torino. Torino wanted to continue adding points following a disappointing 1-1 draw with Cagliari in their previous game while Bologna were beaten 3-2 in the previous match against Fiorentina. After today’s result, Torino are in 12th place on the table and has 22 points while Bologna sit in 9th with 24 points after 17 matches.
Torino started strongly in the first half, thanks to Antonio Sanabria giving The Bull the lead in the 24th minute, finishing the first half 1-0.
Torino continued to pile on the pressure in the second and were rewarded, with a goal from Lukasz Skorupski in the 69th minute. The Greyhounds in turn, then responded in the 79th minute increasing their lead with an effort from Riccardo Orsolini and seeing the game end 2-1.
For Torino, Alessandro Buongiorno, Josip Brekalo and Simone Zaza, came on for Bremer, Marko Pjaca and Antonio Sanabria. Bologna brought on Nicola Sansone, Nicolas Viola, Federico Santander, Riccardo Orsolini and Emanuel Vignato, to replace Musa Barrow, Andreas Olsen, Marko Arnautovic, Roberto Soriano and Arthur Theate.
There were bookings for Antonio Sanabria and Vanja Milinkovic-Savic from Torino. For Bologna, Arthur Theate, Adama Soumaoro, Roberto Soriano and Lorenzo De Silvestri saw yellow.
Bologna and Torino will next play at home to Juventus and Hellas Verona respectively.
