Troyes 1 – Bordeaux 2:Travelling Bordeaux secure 2-1 win against Troyes

Bordeaux strolled past Troyes with a 2-1 win on Sunday at Stade de l’Aube. Troyes were looking forward to meeting again after losing their last game 2-1 to Lille. Bordeaux had to settle for a draw 2-2 against Lyon. As it stands, Troyes are in 17th place on the table and has 16 points while Bordeaux sit in 15th with 17 points after 18 matches.

Troyes started the game well, with Xavier Chavalerin giving Troyes the lead, 28 minutes in. However, their celebrations were kept brief, as Yoann Salmier equalised for Bordeaux, 30 minutes in, finishing the first half 1-1.

Les Girondins started the second half with an intensified spirit, thanks to a goal from Hwang Ui-Jo at the 54 minute mark, sealing a 2-1 victory for the home side.

For Troyes, Issa Kabore, Hyun-jun Suk, Giulian Biancone, Youssouf Kone and Dylan Chambost, came on for Oualid El Hajjam, Xavier Chavalerin, Renaud Ripart, Yoann Touzghar and Tristan Dingome. Bordeaux brought on Javairo Dilrosun, Timothee Pembele, Mbaye Niang, Jimmy Briand, Otavio and Edson Mexer, to replace Remi Oudin, Yacine Adli, Alberth Elis, Hwang Ui-Jo, Tom Lacoux and Laurent Koscielny.

There were bookings for Florian Tardieu, Oualid El Hajjam and Giulian Biancone from Troyes. For Bordeaux, Fransergio, Tom Lacoux and Jimmy Briand saw yellow.

Troyes next face Brest and Bordeaux are at home to Lille.
